Frequently asked questions

Which options do I have to send my files?

There are two options for you to send us your video project material: 1. You can provide a link to your files or folder from your cloud storage (DropBox, Google Cloud, etc.) 2. You can send your files or folder with Video Rescue's We Transfer line, up to 20 GB at a time.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Video Rescue customers can pay through our secure payment system with any major credit card or by using PayPal.

How will I be invoiced?

Paying for editing service has never been this simple! Once you've approved the quote, our system automatically converts it to an invoice with a payment notification. Once we receive your payment, our team gets to work on your project!

Do you offer refunds?

If you're happy, we're happy. We don't offer refunds, but our service includes final edits and changes in order to make your videos exactly what you wanted!

Will I need a DropBox or WeTransfer account to send my files?

Both DropBox and WeTransfer offer free accounts for users, however, Video Rescue's WeTransfer site can be accessed without an account.

Why do I have to send my video material?

In order to provide you with an accurate quote, we review your material along with your order to determine how long your project will take to complete.

Which kind of videos can you produce?

We can produce videos of any length for any platform, including: branding videos, product demonstration videos, testimonials, internal presentation videos, training videos, corporate videos, educational videos, explainer videos, commercials, vlogs, social media videos of any kind.

How much will my videos cost?

Multiple videos could be completed for budgets under $500. Since we charge our services by the hour, if your editing needs are straightforward, you may be able to have multiple videos produced with even a small budget. Just send us your material with a few details and once we review your material, you'll get a quote back from us immediately.

Can I place an order on the weekend?

Yes. We operate 24/7 with online editors and production staff located across Canada & Europe.

There are technical issues with my video material. Can I still use it?

Yes. If it can be fixed, we will fix it. We have technical experts that can drastically improve video and audio quality. If we think you won't be happy with the results, we will let you know how much it can be improved and you can decide whether you want to proceed, before you pay.

How long will take to receive a quote?

Once we review your material, we will send you a quote immediately.

How do I know what quality of video I need?

Today's smartphones, DSLRs and cinema cameras record at least Full HD (1920 x 1080) or 4K (3840 x 2160) so getting a professional look and quality from your material is easier than ever. However, we can still get good results with HD (1280x720). If you don't know what resolution your material is, that's no problem, just check the box "Same as source."

Can I get my final videos in both Full HD and 4K resolution?

Yes. Just indicate that you would like both Full HD (1920 x 1080) and 4K (3840 x 2160) versions of your final videos in the special instructions.

Do you support multi-languages?

Yes. Video Rescue supports English, French, and Spanish. With a translated script, we can also include footage in other languages including subtitles.
